Hairstyles.. An ever changing theme

It’s no secret that I am not afraid to change a hair style.

My philosophy is: “It’s hair. It’ll grow back.”

I thought I’d take you down the memory lane that is my hair…

I didn’t even start in high school.. because, well. That was before digital cameras existed. Okay. Maybe not existed, but they definitely weren’t popular.

My Freshmen year of college. J hates my curly hair.

This was the summer we got engaged.. babies, I tell ya.

Engagement hair…

My hair changed between these two pictures a lot.. I actually went RED RED with my hair, but couldn’t find those pics.

I am pregnant with Claire in this picture..

Who didn’t copy Victoria Beckham’s Posh hair cut?! I surely wasn’t immune to it.

And then.. I went BLONDE. I look back on these pictures and do not recognize this person and it makes me feel awkward inside.

Oh? Jeals of the first time I met this awesome lady?! Pink sparkle heart you, Molly!

So, obviously, the logical thing to do is to dye is dark brown to cover up the blonde.. EEK. Also? I hate growing out your hair.

I started layering shades of red in my hair around this time…

And then started just dying it straight, instead of highlighting with different shades.

Here is present day hair.. well. As present day as we are going to get. I do my hair with a little more curl with the flat iron most days.

Becca is still on me to go full bangs, and I may do it. We shall see!
So, based on what I have shown you.. what’s your favorite hairstyle that I’ve had?
If anyone wants to e-mail me some pics, we could do a walk down memory lane for your hairstyles!

  1. I love the brownish auburn you currently have! That’s one of my favorite hair colors ever. I’m getting ready to do something crazy with my hair… shades of purpleish dark brown auburn etc. Love having hairstylist friends that like to experiment on me!

  2. I would LOVE to see a post on how you style your hair… I have naturally curly hair, too, and I am just not good at flat ironing it, and I love how you add some curl to it while you flat iron it. Love the color, too! I’d love to know how long it takes you to do your hair, too… do you wash, dry and style all in the morning? or wash and let it dry over night? Anyway, it looks great!

  3. I actually LOVE the Victoria Beckham cut on you! But I like the color it is now. Jarrod always says my hair is never the same cut or color in pictures either. Change is good! At least we will never be accused of being stuck in a decade! :-)

  4. I like the one you have now the best.

  5. I like you reddish/dark best! Current is my fave. And one of my fave pics of your hair ever is the one where you’re wearing the houndstooth coat on the football field!

  6. I love your latest cut/color! I’m thinking about going darker myself. Kinda nervous, but like you said…its just hair!!

  7. I love your current cut/color. I always say I am going to cut my hair just above my shoulders but never do. I am not adventurous with my hair I am too chicken.
